The exceptional art, fine craft and small-batch foods that thousands of Hoosiers have discovered at the annual Indiana Artisan Marketplace are available daily at the Indiana Artisan store in Carmel. Open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, at 111 W. Main St., the store offers the work of more than 100 Hoosiers recognized by the State as being at the top of their craft and awarded the Indiana Artisan designation.
“We can’t think of a better pairing than selling one-of-a-kind work by talented Indiana painters, potters, chocolatiers, wood and glass artists, jewelry designers, furniture makers, photographers, leather crafters, beekeepers and sauce makers, and more in one of the state’s hottest art markets,” said Eric Freeman, Indiana Artisan director. “Carmel’s Arts and Design District has a reputation for unique and high-quality work, and this store focuses solely on high-quality art, fine craft and foods coming from Indiana – hand-carved ducks and sculptures, basketry and instruments, handwoven textiles, paper arts, hand-painted scarves, and much more.”
